January 29, 2012 - 6 pm - 5th Sunday Night Sing - We had a great time with a lot of singing. Marcia led us with the singing. Tom up next with his rendition of "The Night Jack Daniels Met John 3:16." To see the video of him, click the picture.

Becky & Fay sang next with "In Christ Alone" followed by Ann singing "Without Him." To see their videos, just click their pictures.

Becky & Terry were the last duet singing "Speak, O Lord" followed by the choir singing their finale "Come & See What's Happenin' In the Barn." Just click the picture for the video.

January 8, 2012 - 6 pm - Family Night Supper - The meal was centered around soups. The food was great and the fellowship was wonderful.

December 4, 2011 - 5:30 pm - Christmas Party - We had a great Christmas Party at Valley Brook. The food was delicious and plentiful and the entertainment was terrific. Below are pictures of the event plus links to YouTube for the singing and the puppet show.

November 27, 2011 - 6pm - Hanging of the Greens - We had a good service and the church was decorated for the Advent season.

November 6, 2011 - 6 pm - Family Night Supper - We dined on turkey, dressing and lots more. It was a great time of eating and talking.

November 6, 2011 - 12 noon - Baby shower - We had a surprise baby shower today at church for Jennifer.

November 6, 2011 - 11 am - Baptism - Today, Ronnie was baptized.

October 31, 2011 - 6 - 8 pm - Trunk 'R Treat - We had a good turn out of zombies, hippies, pirates, clowns, .........etc. Look at the slide shows below for the attendees.

October 30, 2011 - 6 pm - 5th Sunday Night Sing - We had a great time singing our favorite hymns and listening to a solo and a duet.

October 22, 2011 - 1 pm - Wedding of Chrissy Hulsey & Robert Bryant - The wedding was beautiful and so was the weather.  Chrissy and Robert, may your marriage be blessed forever.

October 8, 2011 - Yard Sale - We had a lot of sellers and buyers at the yard sale. There were a lot of bargains if you could make a deal. Even the Bead Lady was there. Rumor has it that she will be there for the Trunk or Treat event on October 31st.

September 30, 2011 - 7 pm - Friday Night Movie - The movie was "The North Avenue Irregulars." Everyone enjoyed the movie.

September 18, 2011 - 6 pm - Deacon Supper. The deacons put on a spread for the church and served the main meal and took up the used dishes. They showed that they were servants and they did a great job.

September 11, 2011 - Bridal Dessert Tea - This was a Bridal Shower for Chrissy Hulsey and lots of women showed up at the event and "showered her" with many gifts. Chrissy will be getting married next month to Robert Bryant. We are looking forward to the big day. Below are slide shows of the shower.

August 7, 2011 - 6 pm - Family Night Supper. We had a lot of great food and good fellowship.

July 29, 2011 - 7 pm - Friday Night Movie - The movie was "What Would Jesus Do?"

July 9, 2011 - 8 am - Trip to LaGrange - The Sonshiners class went to LaGrange to see The Explorations in Antiquity Center. Great place with a guide to explain all of the reproductions and the ongoing construction.

July 3, 2011 - 6 pm - Family Night Cookout - We had a good crowd of people and the food was delicious. We had hamburgers and hotdogs and all the trimmings plus plenty of desserts.

June 13, 2011 - 8 am - 5 pm - Lifeline Screening - We had quite of people show up for the screenings that could detect problems in the human body.

June 13, 2011 - 2:45 pm - The truck arrived with our new choir chairs. These chairs were donated in memory of Wes Green who recently passed away. Wes was a faithful choir member until his health deteriorated.

June 5, 2011 - 10:30 am - Homecoming - The service started at 10:30 am and 146 people attended. The choir was splendid as was Pastor Mike, our speaker. The meal was fit for a king and the fellowship was outstanding. Everyone enjoyed catching up with those that they hadn't seen in a while.

May 29, 2011 - 6 pm - 5th Sunday Night Sing - We had a great time singing all of our favorite hymns.

May 21, 2011 - 9:00 - Homecoming Cleanup - We gathered together and spruced up the church and its grounds in anticipation of Homecoming.

May 20, 2011 - 7 pm - Friday Night Movie - The movie was "COYOTE COUNTY LOSER". Come and enjoy a good movie with free admission, popcorn and drinks.

May 2-5, 2011 - 2nd Annual Men's Spring Fishing Adventure -  We stayed on a cove near the Lake Lanier/Chattahoochee River line. The home was beautiful and has its own dock. The fishing was off due to the large temperature swings but we had a great time just getting away from everything. Here is a link to the video of the trip.

April 29, 2011 - 7 pm - Friday Night Movie - The movie was "Secretariat."

April 24, 2011 - Easter - 7 am - Sunrise service - We had a Sunrise Service outside the church and were treated to a breakfast right after the conclusion of the event.

April 23, 2011 - 11:00 - We had an Easter Egg Hunt for children up to 8 years of age and accompanied by a parent. A lot of kids showed up for the event.

April 23, 2011 - 11:00 - A small group of the older kids were taken to the Rainbow Ranch in Buford, GA. They caught a mess of trout with the fish being donated to the fish fry. Here is a YouTube link for the fishing report.

April 1-2, 2011 - Deacon Retreat, Toccoa, GA - The deacons went up to Toccoa and came back excited about their experiences.

March 26, 2011 - noon - 3 pm - Jane Harrell's 80th birthday party.

March 25, 2011 - 7 pm - Friday Night Movie - The movie was "Doctor Zhivago."

March 6, 2011 - 6 pm - Family Night Supper - We had soup and cornbread and all the fixings. The food was great and the fellowship was wonderful.

February 25, 2011 - 7 pm - Friday Night Movie - The movie was be "Christmas in Canaan". Come and enjoy a good movie with free admission, popcorn and drinks.

February 6, 2011 - 6 pm - Family Night Supper - We had a great healthy meal with veggies only.
