Summer Fling

We had a great time at the Summer Fling. The cars came and were they beautiful!

The band "The Chappelles" played from 11-12 and 1-3. There were a great band and everyone enjoyed their music! Here is a link to their website: Chappelles

Ms Lollipop was there and she painted the faces of all who wanted it done. She also made balloon hats.

From 12 - 1, we had some singers strut their stuff.

We had hot dogs, chips and drinks and the price was really great.

Yes and we had cakewalks. We gave out 22 cakes and everyone was scrambling to get to be in each cakewalk once they figured out what to do.

And, the Fire Department showed up and let everyone climb aboard and sit in the engine.

And, the DeKalb Police came in force.

We were also given a tour of what was inside the Police Cruiser and the officers answered all of our questions.

It was a busy day with a lot of activities. Had a great time but I know that I will go to bed early tonight. If you didn't come you missed a good time.
